Leaving duplicate when I make changes was created by Brussell
I have 2 tablets synced to the same dropbox account using drop sync. When I make changes on the first one and it updates on the second one. The second one is leaving a duplicate. One with the changes and one without. This in turn syncs a duplicate to dropbox. I think I got a setting set wrong somewhere but I can't find it. All help appreciated.

Hi Brussel
That will certainly happen if you make changes to the same file on both devices and then sync, because the sync app cannot determine which one is the one you wish to keep.
I recommend only editing on one device to avoid problems.
Or alternatively, set up an auto sync interval so that it will not happen

Dneilsen yeah I only make updates on one and I have the auto sync set up. I'm thinking maybe the auto sync is causing the duplicate. I remember a setting coming up when I first started that was something about conflicts and duplicates but I can't find it anymore. Would you know what I'm talking about?

Im not sure.

I think I might have solved it. I uninstalled both dropbox and dropsync then reinstalled both. I've not seen the problem yet.
