3.05 - Pedals and Controllers was created by admin
Lyric Pad 3 is able to operate with a vast array of external controllers including pedals, remotes, mice and keyboards.

In fact, nearly any bluetooth controller that sends key codes to Android is compatible with Lyric Pad 3.

Setting up An External Controller
  1. Configure your controller as per its setup instructions for your android device (This typically involves connecting the controller to your android device via bluetooth and selecting a mode on your controller.... but it differs between devices)
  2. Open Lyric Pad 3 and go to Settings - External Controllers / Pedals
  3. In the Test Controller section press the Test button
  4. Use the test screen to ensure that your controller is configured correctly and is sending a keycode to your Android device. (If this is not the case then you need to configure your controller correctly to work with your Android device before it will work in Lyric Pad 3
  5. In the Lyric Display Controls section you can select the action that you wish your controller button/pedal to perform and press your controller button/pedal to bind it to that action.
  6. Repeat step 5 for all buttons/pedal on your controller (or as many as you wish)
  7. Your controller is now set up for use in Lyric Pad Performance Mode

Pedals

Most pedals will be compatible with Lyric Pad 3.
Here are a list of some that are commonly used by Lyric Pad 3 users.
