Metronome

Lyric Pad can display a visual metronome on the side of the screen that can support most time signatures. For the metronome to be displayed the following conditions must be met:

1. The metronome option must be enabled in options
2. The lyric file must have a @!bpmXX tag in the file
3. The lyric file must have a @!beatsXX tag in the file

When a backing track is also present for a lyric file Lyric Pad will attempt to start the metronome two bars prior to the backing track playback. If there is not enough lead time available then lyric pad will attempt to start 1 bar prior. The @!offset tag can be used to tell lyric pad how many millseconds the first beat is from the start of the mp3 file. This can be used to sync the metronome to the mp3 backing track.
